Daryl's place in Round Valley, Idaho (near Cascade) was purchased as a recreational fun spot, mainly for four-wheeling and snow-mobiling, but really, we have used it for romance and star gazing. Round Valley is just past Payette River Canyon, so it is always a relief to arrive into this beautiful clearning after driving through the icey canyon. Usually there is a fox or two to greet us, as well as bald eagles and nationally protected and endangered squirrels.
